10 vials later

Yes, you read that right. 10 vials of blood was taken today. I am still pregnant and surprisingly doing well. The ultra sound showed the sac and the fetal pole and I am only 5 weeks 5 days. Which makes sense since I have a long cycle therefore ovulate later. No heartbeat could be seen yet since it is so early. I go back in one week for another ultrasound to hopefully see that heartbeat flashing away. They of course did the usual blood tests and tested for antibodies since I am RH negative and then just to be sure he tested for DVT again. He has tested for this before and thought for sure that is why I lost the last baby but it came back negative so he is checking it once again.
We spoke about my progestrone levels again. When I got blood drawn at 7 weeks last pregnancy my progestrone was a 16. When I was tested at 4 weeks I already was at 18 so it looks much better than last time. Just to be sure though he is giving me some yucky progestrone vaginal suppositories to take once a day (normally its 2 times a day). It will give me a little more comfort in knowing we are doing everything there is to do. He is such an amazing doctor and assures me that everything is going to be ok this time around.
I feel so much better and for once feel like there is hope.
