I thought I would add some ultrasound pictures. It is amazing how much our luvbug grows in the matter of days. The first picture is the ultrasound we got when I was only 5 weeks 2 days. All you can see is the fetal pole and sac. The next ultrasound is at 6 weeks 2 days. This is the first time we saw a heartbeat! Not much to see but it is amazing that a tiny little dot can have a heartbeat. And the last one is at 8 weeks 4 days (just this past Thursday). I can't believe the amount of growth that can be seen. Our little luvbug was squirming around in there and had a heart beat of 179bpm. The old wives tale says that above 140 bpm it is a girl....so lets cross our fingers! Its so crazy to see the little arms and legs. We even got to see her with the 4D. The sound of a beating heart is the best sound in the world and I am so thankful things are looking so good.

My doctor is so certain that everything is going to be ok. He says that the next ultrasound on May 4th is the ultrasound that will tell us if this is our keeper. Conveniently enough that is right before mothers day...could it be....could it be that I will be celebrating mothers day with my luvbug growing inside me! How exciting is that. He says after that appointment we can tell the world because its our keeper and I plan on it. Its so nice to have a doctor who has faith and makes me feel comfortable.
