registering

Today was a pretty exciting day! We got to go register for baby stuff! We registered at Target and Babies R Us. We aren't done yet because we don't know the gender but a lot of it is done. We decided to go with gender neutral bedding because lets be honest, I don't really want to buy bedding everytime we have a baby. Its very cute. Its zoo animals but what makes it fun is there is a little bit of animal print in it that makes it extra fun. We are registering so early because my wonderful sister is throwing us a baby shower at the end of July before she goes back to school for the year (she lives in alabama and is working on her PHD) I am getting so excited and it finally feels real. Another milestone I am looking forward to is feeling this little one kicking. I can't wait for that reassurance that everything is ok. I know my chances of miscarriage is so low but I still get scared and would love to be reminded that everything is ok! Different books say different things....when will I start feeling this lil one? Sometime soon I hope!
Last but not least I thought I would include my first pic of the belly. We were leaving Babies R Us and there was a very pregnant lady who obviously couldnt fit in maternity clothes anymore. Lance just looked at me and smiled. When she passed Lance said.....thats going to be you baby. I can't even imagine what it would feel like to have a tummy like that but I sure am looking forward to it.
